Spring took its sweet time before making a full and committed appearance in the air.If the last few years are anything to go by, every warm season has found itself unwittingly kicked off with a (detrimental) bang.No one can hide forever though – not even Mother Nature and, judging by the flashes of sunburnt flesh in the corniche vicinity, the sun is officially here to stay. The Lebanese are out and about all right, but it's going to take more than a little sunshine to restore the spring in our step.Contrary to popular belief, warm weather doesn't automatically lead to happiness, which is why it's Switzerland, Iceland and Denmark – and not sunny Lebanon – that topped the ranks of the recently published U.N. World Happiness Report. As far as I know, there are no plans to create a bicycle route to and from Lebanese Parliament in this lifetime.
