Hollywood superstar Salma Hayek over the weekend urged the Lebanese state to grant women the right to pass on their nationality to their children."May the extraordinary Lebanese women and mothers have the possibility to pass their nationality to their children," Hayek, a Mexican-American actress of Lebanese descent, said during a dinner banquet at the Lebanese Center in Mexico City Sunday night, according to Mexican entertainment new site Quien.com.Lebanese law forbids Lebanese women married to non-Lebanese men to pass their nationality to their spouses and children.
