For Tamanna, a Lebanese non-profit inspired by the Make-a-Wish Foundation, "things have a way of happening," Director Soraya Barbir told The Daily Star.Founded in 2005, the organization has a simple goal: go into hospitals, find out the dreams of children suffering from critical illnesses and make them happen. The video, complete with dramatic music and impressive gymnastics, has gone viral -- a testament to the infectiousness of Ghassan's joy. When asked about the wildest wish she has granted, Barbir paused and told the story of the time she was convinced that Tamanna could do nothing. As Barbir left the hospital, mulling over this challenge, Yara's mother pulled Barbir aside to reveal her father was in prison outside the country -- and Yara could never know.Granting the impossible wishes of these children is not the only challenge that Tammana has overcome.
