World-renowned winemaker Fabrice Guiberteau treated guests this week to four different Chateau Kefraya wines with an impassioned talk on the art of drinking.With smooth lounge-style music played in the background, Guiberteau began describing the first wine, Kefraya's blanc de blanc. As guests sipped from the full glasses, restaurant owner Charbel Makhlouf made his rounds of the tables and his chefs brought out a starter dish of four delicate pieces of sushi that teased the pallet with spicy flavors. When asked what inspired him to collaborate with Guiberteau and Kefraya, Makhlouf told The Daily Star that the close pairing of food to wine was key. Perhaps the most impressive food and wine combination of the night was the pairing of a filet gourmet steak, sizzling on a marble slab, and the rich and very aromatic Chateau Kefraya 2011 .
