A romantic show from designer Tania Succar opened the second edition of L.I.P.S. Management's fashion event "Designers and Brands" at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beirut. The Lebanese designer, 25 years into a success-studded career, showcased a dreamy line of evening gowns and wedding dresses bedecked by the work of jewelry designer Kevork Khatcherian. The choice to open the event with a Lebanese designer was no accident, CEO of L.I.P.S. – a part-event-management, part-modeling network company – Johnny Fadlallah told The Daily Star ahead of the opening show.Farra said the success of the idea was clear in how the event had grown since the first edition last October, when it included designers from nine countries."Designers and Brands" will go on through Thursday with back-to-back shows.
