Tourist bus accident in southern France injures 40

MARSEILLE: About 40 people were injured Sunday, some seriously, in an accident involving a bus carrying tourists in southern France, police said.

Full details were not immediately available but police said the bus veered across the road after tyre problems near the town of Vidauban on the road to Nice.

Police gave no details about the victims but local newspaper Var-Matin said the bus was carrying Romanian nationals.
