Divers pull bodies from sunken ferry; toll tops 50

South Korean coastguard officers transfer a covered body onto another coastguard vessel as they recover bodies at a site where the capsized passenger ship Sewol sank in the sea off Jindo April 20, 2014. South Korean prosecutors investigating the ferry disaster said on Sunday they would seek to extend the detention of the ship's captain and two other crew by 10 days as they tried to determine the cause of an accident that may claim more than 300 lives.
