Ukraine PM tells Obama that Kiev will never surrender

WASHINGTON: Ukraine's new interim leader Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk warned Russia on Wednesday that his government would "never surrender" in its fight to protect his country's sovereignty.

Standing next to US President Barack Obama on his first visit to the White House, Yatsenyuk told reporters that Ukraine "is and will be part of the western world."
