BEIRUT: Hundreds of pro- Al-Jamaa Al-Islamiya protesters rallied outside the Egyptian Embassy in Beirut Wednesday in support of ousted Egyptian President Mohammad Morsi.
The protesters, numbering around 700, condemned the “massacres committed against the Egyptian people" who are protesting in the public squares of Cairo in support of Morsi.
They waved placards denouncing the killings as well as the "coup" against Morsi.
"Enough slaughtering," one sing read. "No to the coup, no to terrorism, Yes to legitimacy," read another.
The crowd, including women and children, also chanted slogans against the Egyptian army.
