HERMEL, Lebanon: A Syrian jet attacked two fuel trucks on the border with Lebanon Tuesday, security sources told The Daily Star.
The MiG aircraft fired at the trucks near the northeastern border town of Arsal, the sources added.
It was not clear whether the trucks were heading to or from Syria.
There is no official border crossing in Arsal.
Syrian aircrafts have attacked around Arsal and surrounding areas on several occasions.
Damascus argues that such areas are used as smuggling routes and support bases for rebels fighting regime forces.
