BEIRUT: The Lebanese American University inaugurated an advanced academic executive center in Downtown Beirut Tuesday, a move aimed at giving the capital a cultural and educational edge on par with more advanced countries.
“The center is devoted to providing advanced and specialist studies, including MBA [Masters in Business Administration] and EMBA [Executive Masters in Business Administration], in addition to some studies in architecture, culture and Lebanese heritage to go along with the spirit of the Downtown District,” Christian Oussi, head of LAU’s media and public relations, told The Daily Star.
The center occupies a 600 square meter plot. “In the country’s darkest moments, there is always a hope ...
We are so happy to gather here in order to celebrate this achievement which has been a dream for the last two years,” LAU President Joseph Jabra said.
