BEIRUT: President Michel Sleiman met Friday with a Hezbollah MP over new regional tensions and discussed how to preserve Lebanon’s security, a statement from Sleiman’s office said.
Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammad Raad met with the president at the Sleiman’s summer residence in Beiteddine.
The discussion addressed the “local and regional current developments and the measures that should be taken to preserve security and stability inside Lebanon.”
The president also held separate talks with MP Boutros Harb and the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Lebanon Hasan Saad.
