BEIRUT: Police raided a shop in north Lebanon Friday and confiscated a significant amount of weapons, The National News Agency reported.
State Security personnel raided the shop of a man identified as Y.Y. in Dahr al-Ain in the qada of Koura and confiscated a significant, but undisclosed, amount of machine guns.
Security personnel also arrested the owner of the shop. Separately, Syrian national, identified as A.A., was arrested for arms dealing and was referred to relevant authorities for more investigation.
