BEIRUT: Police asked citizens Wednesday for help in identifying a man suspected of committing fraud.

In a statement, the Internal Security Forces said a man carried out fraudulent schemes on several occasions in the southern town of Tyre by buying heavy machinery and home appliances using fake checks and identification cards.

The police asked citizens to come forward with information about the man either in person in Tyre or calling the following numbers: 07-395-889 or 07-395-012.
