SIDON, Lebanon: A Syrian child was killed and three other people injured Sunday in a fire at a refugee settlement in Tyre, south Lebanon.
The fire broke out at the refugee settlement in Ras al-Ain, where many displaced Syrians have taken shelter.
The National News Agency said the child victim was one and a half years old.
Civil Defense members and firefighters were able to put out the blaze and the injured were transferred to a local hospital.
The Army cordoned off the settlement and launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
