Sections of Damascus Road to close for paving
A+ A-

BEIRUT: The Internal Security Forces cautioned motorists Sunday to not pass through certain sections of Damascus Road that are being paved.

“In order to finalize the last stage of paving Damascus International Road, the contracting company will pave a section of the eastern lane, which starts from Gallery Matta and ends at the road leading to the village of Bsous, and half of the western lane, which is parallel to the central barrier,” the statement said, adding that work on the roads would begin Dec. 16 and end Dec. 24. Consequently, the roads leading to the highway from the Baabda village of Haret al-Sit will be blocked Dec. 16-20.

The road will also be blocked on the western lane of Bsous Dec. 21-24.
