BEIRUT: Russia sent Wednesday a new batch of humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, the National News Agency said.
The batch of aid, the fifth of its kind, arrived at Rafik Hariri International Airport on board a plane that belongs to the Russian Emergency and Defense Ministry.
The aid was estimated at 45 tons of food and relief supplies.
They were received by the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Zasypkin and Maj. Gen. Mohammed Kheir from the Higher Relief Committee.
