Lebanon Army arrests six Syrians for illegal crossing

BEIRUT: The Army arrested six Syrians for attempting to illegally cross into Lebanon while possessing two hand grenades.

In a statement, the military said the six were apprehended in the Wadi Hmayyed area in the border town of Arsal for attempting to cross into Lebanon via an illegal border crossing.

They were riding motorbikes and possesed two hand grenades and a pair of night vision goggles.

They were referred to the concerned authority for interrogation.
