BEIRUT: A man who hemorrhaged to death from multiple stab wounds was found in a cab in the Metn district of Broumana Monday, a security source told The Daily Star.

The victim was identified as Mikhael Simaan Hadshiti, 59, who was from Deir al-Ahmar.

The man was stabbed 19 times in the face, shoulders, chest and hands, the source said, quoting the autopsy report.

Hadshiti's wallet, which was found on the victim’s body, contained LL1,400,000 ($933) along with an identification card.

The source said a personal dispute was the likely motive behind the crime.
