Police arrest wanted man after grenade accident

BEIRUT: A wanted suspect was severely wounded late Saturday after a hand grenade he was playing with exploded, leading to his arrest, the National News Agency reported.

The man, identified by his initials as H.M., was in his home in a Beirut neighborhood near the airport when the grenade exploded.

Police arrived at the scene of the incident and transferred him to a nearby hospital under tight security, the state-run agency added.
