BEIRUT: The Future Movement-led March 14 coalition announced Wednesday it will nominate a single candidate for the presidential election.
“The March 14 forces will have one candidate in the presidential battle,” the coalition said on its website.
The name of the candidate is yet to be announced.
March 14 also urged Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah once more to withdraw his fighters from Syria.
Nasrallah has sent fighters to support Syrian President Bashar Assad in his war against the rebels.
