BEIRUT: The Lebanese Forces’ decision to nominate its leader, Samir Geagea, as the next president for Lebanon has been hailed by the March 14 coalition, Future bloc MP Amin Wehbe said Friday.

"March 14 welcomed the nomination of Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea to the presidency," Wehbe told The Voice of Lebanon radio station.

He stressed, however, that the Future Movement-led March 14 alliance will announce a united stance on the presidential election.

“March 14 leaders are in constant contact with each other and will draw up a road map for the presidential election,” Wehbe said.
