BEIRUT: Authorities identified Tuesday a dismembered body found a day earlier in Ouzai, south of Beirut, as that of 45-year-old Mustafa Nassif al-Saad, a Syrian national.
Saad's body was cut into pieces, stuffed in a trash bag and left next to a dumpster to be discovered by a passerby some time later, security sources said.
A Syrian national and a Bangladeshi woman had been arrested in connection with the murder of Saad, who has been linked to prostitution, they added.
