The March 14 coalition will have only one candidate for the presidential election, MP Strida Geagea, from the Lebanese Forces, said Monday following a meeting with Kataeb leader Amin Gemayel.Meanwhile, MP Alain Aoun ruled out that Free Patriotic Movement leader MP Michel Aoun would declare his candidacy for the presidency in time for the parliamentary election session this week. Kataeb officials have said that Gemayel will declare his candidacy for the presidential election soon.The LF leader told al-Jazeera television in an interview to be aired later during the day that all March 14 forces will participate in the presidential election session set to take place on April 23 .Geagea also ruled out reports that regional and international powers are seeking the election of Aoun as president due to his ties with Hezbollah.
