BEIRUT: Recent trouble with accessing the Internet in Lebanon was due to long power outages, Telecoms Minister Boutros Harb said Thursday.
“The Internet problem was due to a 16-hour power cut,” Harb told reporters before attending a Cabinet meeting at the Grand Serail.
“But the problem was fixed this morning,” he said.
Lebanese had trouble with accessing some parts of the Internet since Wednesday, with many reporting outages via their social media accounts. The problem affected Ogero customers with a DSL connection.
