The Lebanese Army arrested 12 Syrians who were allegedly involved in the Arsal clashes Sunday, after two abducted ISF members were freed by militants earlier in the day in a sign of "goodwill".The released policemen, Medyan Hasan and Kamal Misilmani, were transferred by the Muslim Scholars Committee to Army Intelligence in the Baalbek region, before being transported to the Ablah army barracks near Zahle, according to an Army statement.Amama said that easing harsh security measures against refugees and Arsal residents was another condition the militants had placed on the hostages' release. The release of the ISF members was without conditions, according to Arsal resident, Sheikh Mustafa al-Hujeiri, who facilitated the release of the ISF members. All of the kidnapped soldiers and policemen are alive, Hujeiri confirmed. At least 38 members of Lebanon's security forces were taken captive by militants who overran Arsal.
