Two soldiers lightly wounded in grenade attack

BEIRUT: Two soldiers were lightly wounded Friday evening when an unidentified assailant tossed a hand grenade in the direction of an Army checkpoint in the northern city of Tripoli, a security source said.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the source said the incident took place near Talaat al-Omari and that the military has launched an investigation into the attack.
