BEIRUT: A Lebanese motorist hit and killed two children, aged 2 and 5, on the Beirut airport road overnight, a security source said Wednesday.
The source told The Daily Star that Fatmeh Wehbeh Hamdan was being held after the nighttime accident.
The source identified the victims, both Lebanese, as Zakariya Tufaili, 2, and Sarah Abbas Wehbeh, 5.
Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
