Lebanese soldier missing, another wounded in border clashes

BEIRUT: A soldier is missing and another wounded during clashes taking place between the Lebanese Army and militants near the border town of Arsal, Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk said Thursday.

"Preliminary information indicates that one Lebanese Army soldier went missing and another was wounded in Arsal clashes," Machnouk told reporters at the Grand Serail, where he was attending a Cabinet session.
