President of the Italian Senate Pietro Grasso said he traveled to Lebanon to offer his support to the country amid its security crisis.Grasso said that he was able to voice Italy's solidarity with Lebanon over the ongoing hostage crisis.On Tuesday, Grasso will pay a visit to UNIFIL's Italian contingent in southern Lebanon, where he will also meet with UNIFIL force commander, Gen. Luciano Portolano.Earlier Monday he met with Speaker Nabih Berri, vowing continued Italian support for Lebanon, especially through the work of UNIFIL's Italian contingent.
