BEIRUT: The Lebanese Forces informed the Lebanese Army Friday that guards at party leader Samir Geagea’s residence sighted what appeared to be a drone.
“The [drone] returned a few days ago at 4 a.m. and flew at a low altitude above the headquarters of the Lebanese Forces and the residence of Samir Geagea in Maarab,” an LF statement said.
“In addition to hearing the familiar sound, the guards then saw it with the naked eye, and described it as white in color and said it resembled a drone,”” it added.
Earlier this month, the LF said a drone carried out flights over Maarab for a period of two weeks.
