Mosque ceiling collapse injures six in n. Lebanon

BEIRUT: The ceiling of a north Lebanon mosque that was under construction collapsed Saturday leading to the injury of six workers, a security source told The Daily Star.

The state-run National News Agency identified three of the injured at the mosque in Shekka as Amin Madi, Omar al-Qaadi, and Ismail Hammoud. A Syrian worker was also injured in the incident.

The workers were transferred to a nearby hospital.

Madi was reportedly in critical condition.
