Army arrests two Fatah al-Islam suspects in s. Lebanon

SIDON, Lebanon: The Lebanese Army arrested Thursday two Palestinians suspected of being members of the Fatah al-Islam militant group near the southern port city of Tyre, security sources said.

The suspects – Maher Ghasoub Tahwish, 24, and Mohammad Ghassan Ibrahim, 22, - are from the Burj al-Shamali refugee camp, the sources said, adding that two were handed over to the Army upon the military’s request.
