BEIRUT: The Internal Security Forces arrested Wednesday members of an alleged child trafficking ring in the Beirut area of Ras Beirut.
The four were identified only by their initials, W.K., M.H., M.Z. and H.H. The suspects are accused of running a begging and child trafficking ring, security sources said.
The children, including four Syrian girls, were admitted to House of Hope, an orphanage in the Baabda village of Kahaleh. Security sources said their families were involved in the ring.
