Berri to visit Kuwait, Tehran, Albania

BEIRUT: Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri will head to Kuwait and Albania on an official visit, a statement released Thursday by his office said.

The exact dates of the visits, which come in response to official invitations, were not announced.

A spokesman at Berri’s office said specific dates for both trips have yet to be set.

Berri, the statement said, will also take part in the ninth Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Conference that will take place in the Iranian capital Tehran Feb. 18-19.
