Lebanon Army arrests seven al-Qaeda-linked suspects
A+ A-

TRIPOLI, Lebanon: The Lebanese Army apprehended seven people Thursday suspected of affiliation with Al-Qaeda-linked groups in the northern Lebanon town of Baddawi.

Palestinian factions informed the Army earlier in the day that Syrian rebels were taking refuge in al-Shreydi building in Baddawi on the outskirts of Tripoli.

The military raided the building and arrested seven men who were inside the building and are reportedly linked to Al-Qaeda offshoots, the Abdallah Azzam Brigades and Nusra Front.
