SIDON, Lebanon: Two Lebanese men working with the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon were wounded Wednesday in a blast during a landmine-clearing operation.

The blast occurred as the Norwegian Contingent was clearing landmines in Ter Haref, southeast of Tyre in south Lebanon.

A security source said the small explosion was likely the result of a landmine left over from the July-August war between Lebanon and Israel in 2006.
