BEIRUT: Security forces warned Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea that a drone has been hovering over his Maarab residence, a source in the party said Thursday.

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle has been roaming over Maarab in Keserwan for nearly two weeks, the source said.

In April 2012, Geagea said he survived an assassination attempt when shots were fired at his residence.

Geagea, a leading figure in the March 14 coalition, is an outspoken critic of Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime and Hezbollah.
