Army confiscates weapons in car

BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army discovered shells and ammunition in a car which was stopped on the Al-Namliye Bridge in northeast Lebanon Thursday, according to the state-run National News Agency. The car, which was being driven by Lebanese Bilal Hasan Khalaf, was stopped in Zahle on its way to Arsal. The Army confiscated five rocket-propelled grenades and ammunition of various calibers found inside the car. – The Daily Star
