BEIRUT: A rally was held Sunday in the northern town of Minyeh to mark the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Internal Security Forces Maj.
Wissam Eid. A top communications analyst with the police intelligence bureau, Eid was assassinated in a Jan. 25, 2008, car bombing outside Beirut.
At the rally, a representative of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Minyeh MP Kazem Kheir, praised Eid’s contribution to the probe into the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, the National News Agency reported.
“The time of justice has come where all the truth will be uncovered about those who killed our heroes, starting with [former] Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and ending with Mohammad Shatah,” he said.
