BEIRUT: A suspected Lebanese heroin dealer based in the southern suburbs of Beirut was arrested earlier this week in Hay al-Sellom, according to a police statement Thursday.
The statement said M.S., 21, was arrested Wednesday after the central anti-drug bureau in Beirut received information about illegal activity in the southern suburbs.
It added that police seized 60 grams of heroin found in the man’s possession.
It said the man turned out to be wanted on three arrest warrants for robberies and pick-pocketing.
