BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army reportedly captured a commander from the Nusra Front Monday at a hospital in the Bekaa Valley.

El-Nashra news website said the Army arrested the militant at the hospital while he was being treated for wounds likely sustained in clashes on the outskirts of the northeastern town of Arsal.

Nusra Front and other rebel groups have engaged in fierce fighting with Hezbollah-backed Syrian troops in Qalamoun, a mountainous region bordering Lebanon.
