ISF: Qualification, not nepotism governs recruitment

Members of the Internal Security Forces.

BEIRUT: The Internal Security Forces Saturday said qualifications rather than nepotism governs its recruitment process, asking people who were victim of what it described as 'violators' to come forward.

“After the ISF announced it was recruiting for the ranks of male sergeants and police officers, many people took advantage of some families' pressing needs to have their sons be chosen,” the statement said.

“Some have promised to recruit people in exchange for money or benefits.”

The ISF stressed that its recruitment process “follows certain conditions, standards and most of all, qualifications.”

“ Anyone who commits such a violation will be prosecuted.”

The ISF asked people who were victims of such frauds to come forward and report scammers.
