BEIRUT: The Trial Chamber of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon announced Friday that it would hold a pre-trial conference Monday, two days before resuming the trial of five Hezbollah members accused of the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
The hearing will cover the schedule for the resumption of the trial, presence of victims in the courtroom, witnesses testifying by video-link, expert witnesses and the preservation of exhibits.
The public hearing will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The Trial Chamber may decide to go into a closed session if confidential matters arise.
