Infant's body found in Zahle dump

BEIRUT: Police are investigating after an infant’s corpse was found Wednesday morning in a landfill in Zahle.

The ISF is waiting on the coroner's official report and an investigation has been launched to identify the infant and the parents, a security source told The Daily Star.

Security officials are searching for nearby cameras to check for any footage of the murder and are also set to visit hospitals in the district to collect information on recent registered births.
