BEIRUT: The tunnel that cuts through Alfred Naccache Avenue in Ashrafieh will be restricted due to construction from Wednesday night until Thursday morning, according to an Internal Security Forces statement.
“One of the contracting companies will extend electrical cables on the two sides of the tunnels that pass through the Alfred Naccache tunnel next to Hotel Dieu,” the statement released Tuesday said.
The work will begin Wednesday at 10 p.m. and will continue until 6 a.m. the next day. The statement urged citizens to remain attentive and abide by security officers’ orders to prevent traffic jams or accidents.
