BEIRUT: Lebanese authorities Thursday released a photo of a suspect who allegedly provided a terror cell with explosives, and drives two vehicles that might be rigged with explosives.

In a statement, General Security said 24-year-old Monzer al-Hassan is suspected of providing a terror cell, which was dismantled in Beirut Wednesday, with "explosive belts and explosive material."

Hassan is Lebanese but holds a Swedish passport.

A suicide bomber blew himself up at the capital’s Duroy Hotel Wednesday evening during a raid by General Security personnel. A would-be suicide bomber survived the blast and is undergoing interrogation.

The suspect drives an old beige Nissan and a silver Mercedes 2005 model that could be rigged with explosives, the statement said, asking people with information to come forward.
