Lebanon Army dismantles explosives-rigged vehicle

BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army Monday dismantled an explosives-rigged vehicle in northeast Lebanon, a security source told The Daily Star.

The military brought a bomb expert and cordoned off the area where the vehicle was found in Wadi Hmayyed on the outskirts of Arsal, the National News Agency reported.

The vehicle was identified as a Honda CRV and contained "a large quantity of explosives," the NNA added.
