Police arrest man wanted for several crimes

BEIRUT: The Internal Security Forces apprehended a Lebanese man accused of many crimes, including drug trafficking, forging identity cards and theft, a statement from the police said Saturday.

The 41-year-old man, identified as H.A., was arrested Friday at a police checkpoint in Dahr al-Baidar, east Lebanon.

The statement said the man is wanted for more than 8 arrest warrants.
