BEIRUT: The Directorate of Consumers Protection is inspecting a food poisoning case reported in Nabatieh, the agency said Saturday, without specifying the food product under investigation.
The directorate, which falls under the Ministry of Economy and Trade, said that samples from the food that allegedly caused the poisoning were being inspected in two separate laboratories.
The investigation is supervised by the Lebanese judiciary.
